Join me for a guided mindfulness hike to Raven Cliff Falls, a beautiful trail within the Chattahoochee National Forest. This experience invites participants to slow down, engage the senses, and cultivate presence in nature. The hike is both a physical and psychological journey, offering opportunities to observe how our internal states shift as we move through natural space with awareness and intention.
Throughout the hike, I will guide mindfulness and reflection practices that support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and deepen connection to self and environment. We will explore how mindful awareness enhances well-being and how the principles of ecopsychology and nature therapy help restore balance in a modern world that often keeps us disconnected from the natural systems we belong to. Participants will leave with practical tools for cultivating presence and a deeper understanding of why nature-based approaches are essential for mental, emotional, and relational health.
The Raven Cliff Falls trail is approximately five miles round trip and is considered moderately challenging. The trail follows a clear mountain stream, winding through moss-covered forest and ending at a striking waterfall that pours through a split in the cliffs. We will move at a steady but mindful pace, allowing time for rest, reflection, and discussion at the falls. The full experience typically takes about three hours.
This event is free and open to individuals aged sixteen and older who are interested in exploring mindfulness, nature connection, and community in a supportive setting.
