Emergence: A Spring Equinox Nature Gathering

The spring equinox marks a point of balance in the natural world, when day and night are nearly equal and the season begins to turn toward longer days and increased light. It is a clear transition in the year and an invitation to pay attention. As the earth warms and new growth begins to emerge, the equinox offers a natural opportunity to pause, reflect, and acknowledge our own cycles of change. Recognizing this moment helps us stay connected to the rhythm of the land and reminds us that transition and renewal are inherent to life.

We will gather at the office before walking together to the juniper grove on Kennesaw Mountain. This short walk serves as a threshold, allowing us to step away from daily activity and enter a more intentional space. Once we arrive, we will slow down, ground ourselves, and connect with the surrounding landscape, which offers a steady backdrop for reflection and shared experience.

During our time in the grove, I will guide a series of nature connection exercises designed to deepen awareness and invite reflection. These practices will emphasize sensory engagement, mindful movement, and thoughtful inquiry. Using the equinox as a framework for balance and emergence, you will be invited to consider what may be shifting in your own life and what feels ready for attention or growth. There will be space for both individual reflection and quiet exploration.

We will close with a sharing circle, offering an opportunity for connection and community. Participation is always by choice — listening is as meaningful as speaking. This gathering is open to anyone who feels drawn to mark the season in a grounded and intentional way. I look forward to welcoming you into a shared space of reflection, connection, and seasonal transition.
